We're a close family of 4 who enjoy apple donuts, strolling through Target, and snuggling on the couch with a good book and a soft blanket.

~How it all began~
My grandmother was an amazing artist. My sister graduated Savannah College of Art and Design with an illustration design. Art runs in our veins, but it wasn't until I was in my mid twenties that I discovered my own passion for what runs so deep in my family tree.

Chic Wall Art was born out of my own desire to create something origional and meaningful for my sons nursery. At 8 months pregnant, in the heat, I wobbled store after store, disappointed. Everything I found was cookie-cutter, and did not reflect the nursery I put so much effort and time into designing. I sat down one evening, opened my photoshop program, and began designing. Not long after I hung my sons handmade personal art into his room-I decided I wanted to use my gifting to offer that same personal, meaningful, art work to others.

In June of 2015 we had our second child, a beautiful, joy-filled baby girl. My art on Etsy began to look more pink and soft as my creative brain went into full GIRL mode. It was so much fun. But during the pregnancy we were faced with scary news that our daughter may not make it. It took everything within me to continue creating nursery art while possibly losing my daughter. I decided to dedicate a huge portion of my art to "Claire", by using her name in my sample listings. Thankfully the Lord healed Claire, and I am so grateful to say she is a healthy, happy, pig tailed, tree climbing, 5 year old girl today.

Chic Wall Art has been such a blessing to our family over the past 7 years of having this creative business on Etsy. It has given me a creative outlet during these motherhood years. It has given our children a glimpse into the amazing world of earning money by doing what you love.

My husband and I work as an amazing and happy team. I am grateful to have the strengths of his mathematical, skillful, technical, detail oriented brain. You can rest assured that your prints will arrive safely, as he has engineered an amazing packaging technique that could pass any crash test course.
